Determined to express unique variety through a range of South African wines, Philippe Gaillard and Willie Dreyer set off across the wine regions in search of blocks of Chenin, Cabernet and Pinotage displaying genuine typicity and the ability to reflect the wide array of vineyard sites. They were ultimately drawn to the Swartland and the Stellenbosch area.

The Story of Tales
“The Tales range was born during my two-year trip to South Africa. I got the opportunity to discover a range of vineyard sites, taste some of the country’s iconic grape varieties such as Chenin and of course Pinotage which was created here in South Africa. I was also fortunate enough to meet passionate, innovative and dynamic winegrowers”.
